I have a non-ridden companion on loan from WHW who has the classic signs of EMS, especially the fat pads. She is currently getting a mugful of lo-cal balancer and a magnesium supplement daily which doesn't appear to have made any difference to her. Are there any other supplements you would recommend?

Would it be worth medicating? Pergolide has made a world of difference to mine; it may be Cushings as well as/instead of EMS. I only feed a balancer and magnesium though. Oh and switching to a trimmer instead of farrier. I know it's controversial and I'm not saying all farriers are rubbish but it's made a massive difference to her soundness.
