My ex-racehorse has really poor feet, rather crumbly and stuff, he has been on equimins biotin plus for a number of months but it does not seem to be as effective anymore, any suggestions please??

I had mine on Blue Chip lami light which is designed for feet and I think there was a big difference in both condition and feet.

Profeet! its made such a big difference to my TBs feet, they were awfull, really dry, cracked and brittle and he was always losing shoes.
Hes been on the Profeet (started with the liquid, now on the powder) for around 5 months and the difference is really noticable.
My farrier recommended Profeet as he`d heard good reviews of it and he is so impressed by the difference in horn quality and rate of horn growth.
Definately recommended!

oh yes ! and i get mine from 1stforsupplements, they are brilliant and next day delivery, cos i havent got time to go near a shop.

Mine's a warmblood, but he had really crumbly feet when he came to me, couldn't keep a shoe on for 5 mins. I put him on Top Spec Healthy Hooves supplement. After 2 tubs he has fantastic feet not a hint of a problem. I also had success with this with a TB x Shire. I would really recommend.

I tried every foot supplement there was on my ex racer and the only one that I found that worked and even the blacksmith remarked on the improvement in his feet was NAF's Hoof & Hide, eventually his feet improved so much that when he was turned away for a year because of injury he was barefoot with no cracking or splitting and he was never lame so I totally recommend NAF's Hoof & Hide.

My ex racer had awful feet....I tried everything, but nothing reallymade a massive difference, until I changed his feed to Top Spec comprehensive and Alfa A! He now has much better feet and hoof growth and I am not spending a fortune on supplements either and his muscle tone and coat quality are fab too!

Formula for feet/farriers formula/profeet. Etc
Are you applying anything to the feet themselves? if not you should be. I recommend Hoof Heal.

Another avenue you could go is applying hoof hast

dress them with plusvital, best stuff i have come across as far a dressings go, i swear by it!
what is hoof hast?
