My new mare has a puffy fetlock (windgalls) and does click at times (passed a five stage vetting and nothing was picked up) and was wondering if it would be better to put her on a joint supplement or get magnetic boots or both.
Any ideas or opinions?

I would recommend magnetic boots, but only Bioflow, as they are the only ones I have found actually work.

I also have a Biocan light therapy boot, which is brilliant - you can actually see a difference in my mare's windgalls after it has been on 20 minutes! I bought it for her because she is currently off work with an annular ligament/tendon injury and keeping her windgalls and fluid on her fetlocks generally, down is particularly important for the annular ligament.

Windgalls are more fluid and pressure within the joint ...veterinary advice leans towards giving a supplement for joint support and to improve the lubrication within the joint, the cartilage and strengthen bone.

Both..... boots are a one off purchase anyway...
