Any suggestions on how to make my cob gain some weight? Other than upping the hay and moving to a better field. She's been ill so lost weight a lot. Thanks

At this time of year I would make sure the vitamin E levels were high in any supplement you give, or add more if not.

I was struggling with weight loss in my gelding this time last year until I gave him vitamin E.

My old boy dropped off a bit and after 4 weeks on a extra mug ( he has a mug generally) he’s back to a good weight. He has ad lib hay with grass chaff soaked grass nuts , vit e, turmeric , Boswellia, brewers yeast

My old companion pony who is 31 has done really well on Soothe & Gain from Allen & Page. You would not think she was 31 to look at her. She had lost quite a bit of weight when we were feeding her Keep Calm and I read on here that someone was feeding their old horse Soothe & Gain so changed her over to this she soon put the weight back on.
