So do you use supplements?
What supplements do you use?
Why?

I use Cod liver oil, Magic calmer, seaweed and garlic - i like supplements... Don't know if they work but i do like to think they do!

Hi, bailey's outshine, pink powder, youngstock supplement, cortaflex for a different one and formula 4 feet for another.

I feed garlic, black sunflower seeds, eggs(I'm so old skool!

) and electrolites after hard work. I feed cherry chaff and Bailey's Topline and they have soya oil in them already.

I am terrible.... farriers formula, no bute (for his arthritus), garlic, glucosomine, and a vit and min supp. takes me ages to make a feed up!!!

I add pink powder as Baron has very loose droppings and its the only thing that works. I also feed straights not mixes so it does as a vit/mineral supplement aswell.

Also add a cup full of soya oil per day as I find it hard to keep condition on him and the oil helps.

Summer I add garlic for the flies, dont know if it works but I add it anyway

I feed garlic, oild and a broad spectrum vitamin supplement. I feed the vitamins as they are both in and the haylage analysis was reasonable so I wanted to give them a boost, esp after the poor grazing during the summer.

NAF Superflex - brilliant stuff. Good for my 2 veterans and solved my other horses "cold back" issue!

Soya oil - General well being / joints / shiny coat / condition

Locally made high-spec vit & min supplement - To supplement their diet as none of mine get full recommended feed levels.
