What does everybody use? I used to use baileys lo cal. Then swapped to a leisure mix. As feed merchant didn't have any lo cal in. So I feel now as I don't feed as much as they suggest. I feel I want to give them a little something extra. Perhaps am being over the top. Hmm. I was looking at feel good 30 general supplement. Although cant find anywhere tht states how much a day and how long it would last. I have 3 neddies you see. Ooh I don't know. Any recommendations?
Nice pancakes and whipped cream to any one that can be bothered o reply to my boring questions!

I make my own mineral supplement, it's higher spec than off the shelf balancers anf only Costs me about £11per month per horse.

Why not just go back to he Lo Cal?

Dunno really. Cost I think. But that's why I'm trying to work out how much a 1.5kg tub would last 2 horses and a mini. At a tenner a bucket. Compared to 31 quid for a bag on lo cal

Recommendation is 50 g per day for an average horse and 25 g for a pony so you'll use around 125 g per day which will make a 1.5 kg tub last 12 days. If your horses are large horses it won't last as long. If you feed your mini a half pony dose (I'm guessing!) it'll last a bit longer.

I ordered a tub today at lunch. Going to see how they go on it. It's not going to break the bank. Thinking to use the stroppy mare in sprig and summer when Madame is high as a kite!
