Hi, I have a 25yr old Shetland pony.
He's got low grade lameness in his near fore.
He's had mild laminitis in the past, so we're really careful with his diet, however the lameness has persisted through the winter.
My Farrier trims his feet every 6-7 weeks, and he says his feet are fine, no heat, no pulse and categorically not laminitis - he suspects knee or shoulder lameness (he's a very good farrier).
I'm going to get the vet if he deteriorates, however can anyone recommend a good suppliment for joints.
I know of Devils Claw, but really don't know here to start?
Advise / recommendations would be appreciated.
PS he is very mobile, gallops about and is stabled at night all year round / rugged when wet and cold whilst turned out.
