Advice please folks. I have never really used boots but feel I should now as my horse has been out of work for a long time and could use a little support. I have a set of the premier equine wrap sstyle ones that go around the fetlock. How do they help? Can you hack out in them? Should I always use all four? Anything else I should know? They get very dirty too how often do you all wash boots? Thanks in advance for advice.

No one was answering, so my thoughts, no boots will offer real support, they give protection from knocks, brushing type injuries rather than supporting the structure of the leg as such. The ones you are thinking of are like the sport medicine boots, but cheaper, they give protection round the fetlock joint but can rub at the bottom if used for a long while, they are good quality though and fairly tough.
I would be more inclined to go for something like the PE air cooled boots, they are easy to care for, prevent the tendons getting heated, offer tendon protection and a little possible support, although not round the fetlock joint.
