Hi all, does any sort of a support exist for rider core area that can be worn when riding? ? Trying to strengthen that area up and just not getting to pilates on a regular basis, am just too busy.

I got a book off amazon called Pilates for the dressage rider which is very good. you can get support belts but they shouldn't be used long term or you start to rely on them and weaken the muscles further. a good one is serola belt.

I used a back support to help me learn how to use my core muscles. It was a cheap one from lidl and I had to think about resisting the pressure from it while I was riding (if that makes sense?) so you almost push out with your core a little. Interestingly my pony could tell when I had it on and went much better! It also had the added benefit of keeping me warmer in the winter :)
