Hi i thought i would set up a post as my dog it dying from lung cancer.he has good days and bad days like last night he had a very sore belly and pooed all over the place.
Im finding it very hard to cope and my hubby i can not talk to as he is male not his fault its just the way it it.

So i got to thinking i can not be alone there must be others that are in a similar situation to me. I was hoping we could support each other and when we have a bad day with our best friends come on here and lean on each other.

thank you for reading.

Nicky

Sorry to hear that:(

My old spaniel had cancer of the pancreas - was diagnosed in the Easter and had one bad weekend then and then perked up and lived a good full life until the September when after a week of behaving REALLY badly (thinking breaking intro the fridge, stealing food etc) just went to sleep in her bed with her teddy:(

Gentle hugs for you doggy and you xx

thank you slinky eddie is pretty good he comes to the yard with me. he won't hack or come around to watch me ride but i always clean the stable before i ride so he has somewhere to go and sleep if he needs too. he looks grand but he is very tired and sleeps a lot more than he use to.

i have put one of my kids baby blankets on his bed downstairs and when he makes it upstairs he has a lovely soft bed to go on to. we use to let him on our bed but he drips so not fair on him.

I remember your original post and how heartbreaking it is for you and there will always be people on here to support you. If you decided tomorow enough was enough no one would blame you because its heartbreaking watching a dog decline.

I hope for your sake and your dogs you both enjoy many days in the sunshine and as I said before make every day count.

If you want to pm thats fine Im on here most days.x

thank you so much i was trying this post to see if anyone else was in a similar situation to me. he has pooped again upstair today i caught him but last night i was googleing it and apparently it seems to be a common side effect of steroid use

Thank you for listening :)
