Not sure if this will have been asked before but has anyone used Sure Clip Cordless or Wired Clippers before? I know they are a cheaper make so I wouldn't expect them to last forever but they would really only be used twice a year to clip a fine coated thoroughbred. What's your thought on them?

Thanks in advance :)

I have the wired ones and they have been going strong for 4 years, clipping every 4 weeks and only had my blades sharpened once (naughty I know!). I use them mostly on a cob x, but they have been used on an exmoor, TB and New Forest.
They are quite loud and a little heavy but my mare doesn't mind them at all. They have just started to go I think and the downside is that they can't be serviced by my local clipping company because they are an 'unknown' make and they can't get any bits for it which is fair enough.
I think I will replace them with something different though as I am clipping more now then ever so need something that can be serviced regularly.
Well worth the money if you are only going to clip occasionally.

ETA - My dad changed the power cable on mine to one with a circuit breaker at the end just in case they blew!

I had a pair, it was dissficult to get the blades right. Left them for a few months and when I went to put them to charge to make sure that they were fully charged. They exploded and blew the electrics in my house. I would never use them again.

I have the battery ones and they are fine, they go through my Cushings ponies coat easily. They are a cheaper clipper and you get what you pay for but they are fine for what I want them for.

I have the wired pair, and they do full clips all winter, every few weeks on a variety of coats. As everyone says, you get what you pay for and I don't expect them to last forever but they do the job well at the minute.
