Horse has an increasing number of lumps/bumps, for no discernable reason? Mainly on near side but a smattering on off side, plus some under stomach.

Developed over last couple of days

Not itchy, generally smooth to the touch but some seem to have v small scabs on the skin/under the hair.

No change in feed, or grazing.

He's had an increase in his danilon this week due to an unexpected gallop on hard ground (danilon for intermittent lameness due to lesions between DDFT and collateral navicular ligament in near fore), but daily danilon was his starting dose last year with no side affects.

Any thoughts ie treatment?

Vet is out on Tues to do vaccinations, so if they are still there, we'll ask!!20220827_203100.jpg

Me!! I can vouch for piriton!
My horse had these two weeks ago, after being stung and then had an anaphylactic shock because of it!

buy your pills from home bargains or a cheaper chemist! My horse is 520 kg i fed 25 a day for first week and now down to 15 a day and its made a massive difference x

Is he lying down on anything odd? One of mine decided to make herself a bed on a pile of nettles once.

A friends horse is currently covered in bumps we assume from flies.

I also use piriton (vets aware) but one of mine gets v dopey on it so be careful about riding
