Can i please have some recomendations on sufaces for indoor schools.
Currently we have a rubber and sand surface that urgently needs renewing jsut wanted thoughts on whats good and whats not.
we currently have two other schools one has turf float the other flexi ride but want a third alternative.
It needs to be for heavy use and easy maintanance

i'd go for something vaseline-coated, so you don't have to water it. have ridden on a few exceptionally good surfaces like that. of course it depends what you are doing on it though - dressage, or big jumps, or a mixture...

We have this at the yard,

http://www.equestriansurfaces.co.uk/WaxTrack.html

Doesn't move about on the concrete floor and is nice soft going without the horse sinking in. We jump and dressage on it without problem.

(Although monty roberts did mention it is no good for western riders doing a sliding stop because it doesn't move about enough so the horse comes to a faster stop then anticipated!)
