Surfaces at Broomes Event Centre - quick question

I'm making the trek from Dorset to Wales tomorrow for the weekend BS, and I wondered if any of you lovely people know if the Popular ring is on grass or on a surface?

Popular as in the main ring or Poplar? I thought the Poplar was on grass and that it was only the main arena that was a surface but I may well be wrong. It's a brilliant venue though, well worth the trek.

Assuming you meant Poplar ring?! I was there for a big dressage comp last year, there are at least 3 arenas on a surface other than the main arena. There is one right near the lorry park/stables, and at least two, a little walk away, past the main arena. I'm pretty sure the Poplar, was away from the main arena, up a longish track. There was another arena next to it, being used as warm up. Hope this helps

I think they've added surfaces recently as it was as you said when I last went Geek

Poplar ring definitely grass!! Was there for the masters.

Agree poplar will be grass for the showjumping, im there taking my 4yr old to her first show on Sunday, will be jumping the BN and 'maybe' the 4yr old class, look out for the one thats broncing and owner holding on tight! Good luck

Poplar and I think castle are grass? Superflex arenas(?) are surface
