I agree. I detest those posts from far eastern countries where they think nothing of shoving a kitten in a dug out hole with a snake and proclaiming "poor kitty, fell hole, I save it". Yeah right.

And the monkey videos of the poor little creatures dressed up and carrying baby monkeys and the careless way they drag them across the floor because they don't know any different. Heartbreaking.

I know a few people who have chosen their pets based on how they will look on their Instagram grid. Because that is, of course, the most important thing to consider when buying a dog such as a Husky or a Weimaraner…..

I'm sorry, not against the breed at all, but the amount of people that get a Husky because they're pretty. I can't think of many dog breeds that are genetically worse for a pet home.

Same. I think they are lovely dogs but they are firmly on the list of dogs I would never own as I cannot give them the life they need.

Each to their own, but definitely not for me, even if we remove the exercise requirement

Why have a husky when you can dress up a beagle at Xmas for FB likes?

DISCLAIMER: It was for a few minutes for fun on Christmas Day when Mum came round for lunch! She wasn't amused....
