Surgical Farrier in Essex?

Hi there,
My horse has just been diagnosed with laminitis and x rays have shown that the pedal bone has rotated

I need to find a suitable farrier to cut her heel back and fit the plastic shoes.....does anyone recommend any farriers in the chelmsford area??

speaking from experience you need a very good farrier to fit these properly. Find the best one you can.
IMO i dont rate these pads anyway

Do your vets not recomend a farrier. I am n ear you and mine do.

No, the farrier they use 'doesn't like fitting the shoes' so he won't be much help......have just left a message for Paul Cooper to call me, searched on Google and he comes recommended. I just want my mare to be out of pain. I feel so sorry for her at the moment.
