I decided to go for a wander through the woods at the back of the field today so I could let the dog off the lead earlier and my sneaky ninja skills paid off 
Usually the horses see the dog coming because she runs round the corner and they meet me sedately by the gate but because I was coming round from the bottom of the field I saw them first.
I couldn't see Loki at first till I noticed his head sticking out of the gorse bushes at the top of the field (mild panic that he'd escaped!) and I called them, they spotted me, whinnyed (sp?) and cantered all the way round and down to the bottom of the field to meet me I love it when they do that even if it is cupboard love 
I came away slightly less covered in hair this time too so my daily attacks with a shedding blade seem to be paying off even if it does look like I've murdered a black bunny and a white bunny in the field afterwards
Me and mum have decided after a bit of discussion that we are going to try riding in the field after all. At first we said we wouldn't because we didn't have space for a designated schooling area but we are finding time to hack together is really hard to come by
As an added extra bonus we now wont have to leave one in the field alone when one or the other of us wants to ride but the other person isn't there
