Can you tell me your livery costs, farrier, vaccinations, etc per month?

Lived in hampshire for a while but didnt take the horses so I don't know what the differences will be, looking at some livery yards its huge, found one at £180 a week part livery where as up here its £65.

thanks in advance.

I have recently done a tour of surrey yards (don't ask!) costs as follows:

Part Livery
£430 p/m, £520 p/m, £580 p/m, £595 p/m

Full Livery
£625 p/m, £700 p/m

Farrier - depends on you shoes but average is about £55.

Hope that helps.

Meg

The one in Surrey I'm about to take my new horse to is 99/week part livery and that includes lunging/horse walker every day but no riding.
Schooling livery is 180/week, ridden 5 days week.
They also tailor make livery to what you want apparantly.

Facilities are fantastic and lots of shows! Plus they provide you with bandages, show rugs etc.

Not sure what the farrier they use charges, but my one from home is about 60 or 70 quid (sorry pound symbols not working!!)

It's fairly pricey IMO that's why mine is on grass livery, the cheap skate

!! It really depends on who your vet and farrier are as the prices do vary alot I've found.

Grass Livery tends not to be advertised so much. Whereabouts are you looking? There's space at my yard, but unfortunately no school. £25 a week with stable, £15 without.

Yes grass livery is fairly easy to find, where about's in Surrey are you moving too? I pay £70 a month on a nice small friendly yard. PM if you want any numbers/ details

I work in Farnham and I'm trying to find grass livery in the area - if anyone can enlighten me as to where I find some I'd be very grateful! I need just a field for my old, retired boy and access to a school for my youngster.

Regarding livery - I'm currently on part livery over in West End - between Chobham and Bisley - it's £90 a week - horsewalker included, but not any other exercise. hay, feed, shavings included. farrier is around £60 for a full set. go a few hundred yards down the road into Chobham and it's more like £120-£130 a week.
