Not sure if its classes as South West but can anyone recommend any DIY around Guildford area? As long as there's turnout and stable with hay/straw I'll be happy.

Thought I'd reply to this as I'm moving from this area to bristol! Quite a few yards around merrist wood, which is a big college in that direction, just on the outskirts of Guildford. They hold a lot of competitions too. The yard I was at was down a lane from a tack shop called frosburys, a lady called Orretta runs the place, it has two schools and is fairly reasonable. There are two other yards nearby, one little field manor and another that is just off the main road and effectively in front of Littlefield manor. There is also another tack shop called rokers opposite merrist wood. Hope you have found somewhere
