Hi
We keep our horses in the Leedstown area.
Overnight, last night, someone entered one of the fields, plaited up one horse(gypsy cob type) and removed all the plaits from an id x tb.
No one was seen, but action has been taken to make removal of any horses very difficult.

Anyone locally had anything similar occur?????

Too close to me for comfort! But our lot all boring bays and definitely not plaited - especially not the hogged one... Will check again later...

i dont know if this is in anyway connected and apologies if it isnt, im in cornwall on holiday with the family and around 7pm last night there was 2 gypsy caravans with 3 cobs and around 7-8 people going towards leedstown i only know as we went thro there for a meal and my daughter was facinated by them,

they were towed by horses 3 very heavy cobs they were camped on monday night on the road out of st ives at top of balnoon pub,

oh sorry just thort id add the horses had flymasks on and there was a black dog tied to the back of the second caravan hope it helps

Aha! Rode past these guys on a wide verge yesterday near Connor. Gave the "mum" a wave and she and the children waved back. 3 chunky coblets in very robust condition, 1 in its own mini paddock! All very clean and tidy, hope it's the same when they've left as there are travellers in Cornwall that give the others a bad name, would be nice to see a positive example.
