I am at a yard just and i now and i am nearly 100% my horse has ulcers, he is due to get scoped but not for another 3 weeks. Although i had previously arranged for us to move yards, just now we have a small area for turnout, all horses are separate so don.t get to mix and in winter you half hour in a dry paddock, so the horse needs ridden every day to be exercised. The new yards they get turned out all year even if it is only for 5 hours, and are currently put out in morning and then brought in at night so i would have luxury of being able to pop up, ride, muck out and then put him back out, and he enjoys the rest of the day out until he will be brought in. The new yard is going to be 100% better for horse, for so many reasons including routine, however i am worried if i move him now it will make ulcers worse, should i wait till he is treated and then move or just bite the bullet and move now?

I would probably move yards now and sounds like he would enjoy the extra turnout. It might be worth giving him some time off while he’s being teated too
