Tomorrow and wednesday I am having jump lessons from Suzie Gibson - I have been told she is fantastic and am really looking forward to them - despite the fact my horse is an ex racer who is just starting to jump - as in he has had 4 jump lessons this summer and thats it so very green jumping. I wondered if anyone else has had lessons with her and what they thought.
posted this in soapbox as well by mistake - sorry

I haven't personally had lessons from her but know plenty that do - she takes a regular slot at a local equestrian centre.

She is very highly rated. One friend actually said she had learnt more in one lesson than she had in a number of years with another popular instructor.

I have been trained by Susie for 5 years, shes fantastic. One of my horses is at her yard at the minute. You really will learn more in one lesson with Susie than several with other trainers. Let us know how you get on.

brilliant. I was booked in to do the two day in October and thought that would give me time to get Pongo jumping well so I could really press on - but I got a phone call on Sat to say a space had come up this month and would I like that as well. So jumped at it. He's never been in an indoor school so that could be a bit tricky but will get there early an warm up in the small indoor arena so he should have chance to calm and see things , but I may spend a long time just spooking at things rather than jumping today - but by tomorrow morning he should be calm and really take stuff in. Will update after both. Thanks for feedback.
