swallows that feel the need to prey on bald heads..

we have a family of swallows at our yard who made their nest in my stable. we watched the parents raise their babies and now their all flying around outside. however is it normal for a swallow to attack a human?

our YO is bald and when ever he steps outside his door, one of the swallows dips down really fast and about a foot above his head, goes back up again, its quite scary how close he gets, plus he does it repeatedly!!! its amazing to watch and YO laughs about this but i just wondered, have i witnessed a monster being raised or is this normal swallowish behaviour??

We must have about 8 nests in and around our yard that have been used multiple times this year. Its been a bumper year for swallow hatchlings! They too, like to divebomb us at every available opportunity, often getting dangerously close. They are so noisy too, you can hear them from our bedroom windows, it sounds like a very active petshop here at times.
