Sweating in the field

Does anybody elses horse just sweat while only standing in the field in the summer? Guessing he must have a hooly round??

But he comes in a bit sweaty and then by time i have ridden he is extremely sweaty (even just after a half hour walking hack) excessive sweating or what!

just the word 'summer' makes my cob sweat and i no for sure he doesn't hooly around!

first day today i have had to stand and plait all his mane up just to help keep him a bit cooler

Mine always sweats in the summer as he has to have a cover-all fly rug for his sweetitch,and I know he spends more time sleeping than running about! Just make sure he's got access to salt and plenty of water
