my cob sweats up in his trailer evreytime he travels its like he gets anxiouse is they anything I can give him do's anyone else have this problem.

Make sure he isnt too hot i.e. open windows and reduce/remove rugs.
Practice travelling so he is less anxious. maybe travel with a friend where possible. Make sure the driver is careful!
Also, make sure you are feeding salt to replace the electrolytes lost when he sweats.

i would guess being this time of year he is getting hairy, so would clip him and keep travelling outfit to a minimum! if you have the time put him in the trailer every day and go round the block (10 to 15 mins) til it all becomes boring and routine! he is probably anticipating a good party!

Sunny sweats heavily when he's travelled in a lorry, with or without company. He just doesn't like travelling. He was better the one time I travelled him in a trailer and I'm currently investigating this. Could you give your ned a short acting calmer to help him cope? You'd have to be certain though that, if you're travelling to competitions, it's competition legal.

Actually ive put him on D & H take control and giving him electrolites night before and after hunting will see how that go's will let you all know how I get on thanks for all your replys.
