What do you do with your hat if it's all sweaty after you have ridden and is there anything you can spray in them to help stop mildew or that ' sweaty' smell?
All the stuff that I use on a regular basis, ie hat, boots and chaps etc I keep in a very large locked trunk at my yard so I don't have to ferry it back and forth all the time. When I've ridden I then put my hat in a cotton draw- string bag and put it in my box. Today when I went to use it, it was still damp from yesterday. eeewww! ( I had to throw my spare hat away as it was covered in mildew )
Not too sure if the best thing would be to leave the hat out of the box and hanging up somewhere to let it air or to get a spray of some sort. What does every one else do please.
