Yes it's a North Swedish trotter, almost the same as Boris in my last link but for about 45 years they've been separated into working horses and trotters competing in harness racing. The owner in the video is very proud over her Karla Koper jumping that 130 centimetres high obstacle.

I was reading the post about people importing foreign heavy horses to use as riding horses when UK breeds as Suffolk Punch is becoming more and more rare, earlier today and saw that people said that it was a pity that you didn't see them do other things than being used as draught horses more often. Since I knew that there has been Ardenner races done for fun, I decided to do a search on YouTube, to see if I could find one.

Fantastic videos . Loved watching the heavies race. I never knew how versatile these beautful heavy horses could be. Sadly in the Uk we do not see enough heavier breeds at normal shows .

What fun!

Any horse can gallop, so if they are evenly matched, it is as much a race as a bunch of thoroughbreds, they probably thoroughly enjoy it.
