Well am I glad its Friday!!! Have a load of calls to make and emails to answer but no long drives today!! Am hoping to get finished just before lunchtime so I can get in a couple of sneaky rides!!

Farrier finally coming today! I completly wore horses shoes out on tues, luckily they've stayed on with him just mouching around the field! Excited as I get to ride again...it's only been two days...god i'm sad!
Also excited as me and OH are moving house this afternoon! He picks up the keys at 2pm so i'll have to try and not go off exploring and end up out for over 2 hours on the horse!

I'm currently packing some stuff that I sold on ebay and other generally tedious work stuff
Bought new saddle for horsey on ebay this morning so fingers crossed that it fits when it arrives

Ah it all becomes clear...I'm at work with sweet FA to do, well there is work but it's Friday and I don't want to! What does everyone have planned for the weekend? It's supposed to be sunny in central scotland, not sure I believe it though!

hi guys
finally got my dressage arena up, altho the ground leaves alot to be desired very undulating at one end oh well best i can do for now.
havnt ridden yet will go out later if i get chance.
got to go in town to do the banking in a min and go PO.

Oh that sounds like fun
I hope it's at least sunny so you can get a bit of a tan whilst working! Remember and wear gloves, nothing worse than those metal wire splinters you get from handling electric tape.

Well thats it - have done the emails and the calls
- just got to nip into town and pick up some feed etc and then can have lunch and go for my sneaky rides!!
Weekend plans - the weather is supposed to be good so as much riding as I can squeeze in - the coblet has to do lots of work before the yard show next week
.....she will trot proper 20m circles if it kills me!!!!!!!!

well my weekend consists of sorting out hay shed, then possible car boot on sunday as no shows planned. then will be making hay next week so great fun!!!

I've just had a lovely card from our vet saying how sorry they were I had to have Rumour PTS and that they knew it was a difficult decision!
Sad, but very lovely of them.

I suppose I was a bit shocked, always thought that my vet is very good, very professional, and very good with the horses. The card was hand written, and so nice.
It just goes to show, that good customer service and thought goes a long way.
Also, it shows they are human too, and having a horse PTS is not nice no matter how you look at it.
Maybe feeling a bit fragile today!!! Fragile doesn't know about it though!!!!

How is everyone?! Im having one of those days where everything I do riding wise, just pee's me off! I cant let go of the inside rein on my right rein and its driving me mad!! We're overbending and falling out all over the place.

she can actually do some nice work in walk
done an exercise that involved 10m circles which went ok
then done some walk to canter transitions she gets abit

D_L I've just been going through that exercise with my daughter, and believe me, your horse must be much better than that!!! Her pony is as wonky as h**l and she keeps laughing!!! Productive...well a little!!!
