Am up bright and early today as I have a few things to do today before finishing work for my TWO weeks holiday!!!

Not a good day for me today, I found out last night that a friend's horse was rushed to the vets with colic and might not have made it through the night. On a better note, I had quite a good ride out with nappy ned and though she was so reluctant she nearly stopped a few times, we made it out onto the road and the bridle paths, which is the furthest I've ever been on my own with her, and first time on the roads alone too. Please send some luck to my friend, I can't get in touch with him today so don't know how the night went. Thanks
 
I have been in Suffolk for the last couple of days viewing a loan horse! He is perfect and should be arriving with me in the next couple of weeks! His owner is coming to see me on Wednesday to check out my yard and if all goes as planned then yippeee!

He is 17.1hh Polish Warmblood 7yrs old and he's a Bay Roan Leopard Spot. He is very cheeky and inspires confidence. He's just such a lovely boy. I am going to put some pictures of him up later when I have figured out how to get them off my stupid phone!

Afternoon!

Well I fly out of Rome in about 4 hours... we head to the airport in about 1 1/2.

Walked to the Spanish Steps and Piazza del Popolo this morning, then had lunch near Piazza Navona. Unfortunately I can now speak enough Italian in the right accent to convince the waiters I am fluent, which leads to awkward moments!!! Had a lovely pizza with Mum, and then we got our final icecream fix. Tidying up the apartment and packing now.

At least I get to see Genie!

Thanks. I'm off for 1 week now, looking forward to spending lots of time out and about on neddy as it's also first week of full loaning so she's all mine *laughs manically*. I still haven't heard from my friend so I'm a bit nervous, though I've got OH on the case now. Fingers crossed...

Its been okay, we have all our groceries delivered in big cages so was not a happy bunny this morning when the heavens opened and we had 6 cages in our car park and only 2 decent covers, drenched is not the word

Other than that it was a busy busy day with grokels making the most of the bank hol weekend, though felt sorry for ones heading north

Hi all - wine please too!!!! Blair tomorrow so I am excited - weather looks like it might be okish!!! However pals are up there at the moment and it is a bog all lorries being towed in and out!

oh weather is bit horrid. cleo was running round and not letting me catch her, eventually managed with some bribery, and then the thanks i got was having alot of hay dropped on my head!!!

now my sisters lil ar*ehole of a pony has decided that she didnt want to eat the nice grass in front of the stable, oh no she wants to eat the hay which is soaking for my cob so now he only got half of what he did!!!
