Manes should be to the right. However thick the Padsters is it will be easier then the coblets - hers is like fuse wire!! I would just stick to pulling it and use a thinning knife to help. Pull from the right side so there is some longer hair hanging from left to right so the plaits are neater - does that make sense?

there was something posted about manes the other day and what side should they lie, and my ponies mane lies both sides but the english way is on the right and the foriegn way is on the left, so is it called enfor

Oooh mane pulling, don't ask me, I always get told off for either pulling too much, not enough, or making it look like a loo brush!!!

I do prefer to use a mane comb though and not the solo comb things, think it thins it better!!!

two weeks.... but i've just reached the stage where i can't do ANYTHING. it's my third and each one has been a bit harder than the previous one. today i realised i should probably stop driving when i mounted the kerb a few times... and even feeding the ponies was a struggle too, which makes me sad, as 'yard time' is my fave time of day. i couldn't bend down to pick up his bucket

you're lucky! raff's is 100% over to the left... and if i try to force it over, it points to the skies. i've given up, and decided it's the 'continental' look... apparently it can signify whether a horse is right or left handed/footed

I haven't even begun to think about what I'm wearing tomorrow!!!!! Will sort that in the morning at some point!!!! Yes puppalou is in the dog house!!! she was extremely naughty! Have had a really busy hectic week and cant wait till the weekend is over then I can start packing and move house and enjoy a quiet life!

Aha, found the other vids! Right when you do your little bendy snake across the middle of the arena in walk, when you've down one half circle, make sure you are straight!!!!! Dont start the turn for the next ten metre circle until you've dont two or three straight steps of walk!!!!
