I will certainly feel a bit jittery when hacking past there in future! But I can't really avoid it as its the only way to get to the best hacking in our area , not a sacrifice I can make!

What a day today has been - ugh, glad it's the weekend! And Ted went fantastically this evening, I finished schooling after 20 minutes cos he went so well (plus I think I may have the luri - ugh!)

Well, my day.
Got the job I wanted, which is great. AND proved the neighbour at my yard to be a total lying git. Someone has been throwing apples into the field, causing my Exmoor pony to be verging on colic after gorging himself, poor little love is very under the weather at the moment. The apples have obviously been lobbed in with great force as they were in the middle of the field, not just dropped over the wall. Spoke to the neighbour, nicely, he denied all knowledge, 'haven't got any apple trees' he said. As I was leaving the yard I spotted the apple tree in his driveway, dripping with the offending fruit, russett apples, very distinctive. I know he's got it in for my YO's, so Im sure he's the guilty party..

Anyroadup, I've lost track. Is this the bar? What day is it? Could I have a great big glass of chilled Chardonnay please and a packet of Quavers?
 
hi guys how are we all doing. im just back on line as changed internet provider and was of line for a few hours. anyway had long chat with the vet with regards to toby and he is going in to be xrayed and possibly his hocks reinjected on thursday morning. this may be the reason for the struggle with his weight but i can't work out if he is lame or just stiff as he as such an odd gait now. at least after the x-rays i will be able to see what the joints are doing.
 
People are really grrrr sometimes. It's so annoying when they have a grudge against the YO and take it out on your horse!!!!

I was at a yard (long, long time ago) and the YO's neighbours and her had a bit of a grudge going on. The next door neighbours threw bricks into my horses field!!!

MrsM - I know its a cliche but the right thing comes along at the right time - have you looked a bit further south from where you are now - there are quite a lot of houses with land in the Vale of Belvoir and its not the most expensive.

toby is only 12 years old but was diagoniosed in 2006 with worn cartilige in his hocks and theyb were medicated then so think they are needing redone with show you his x-rays on thursday night
 
I suppose they've told him to say something to justify their decision!! I still think she's hopeless, and wish she would speak English!!!!
