It's gone really grey here. Another quick night tonight, though tonight my best mate is coming up the yard with me then round to mine and I think we're gonna walk down the street for a chippy (I have 2 chinese, 2 indians and a chippy within walking distance from my house, so privileged). But I do eventually want to move to the country so should start geting used to not having amenities so close by

I need a big pot of winter slosh wash - I love it and it smells so nice and I think they like it to after work wrapped up snug!

Well there will obviously be loads of saddelcloths/numnahs there but I like these

Good quality - lots of colours and not a bad price!

Other than that I will toddle around having a look - bound to be sopmething else that grabs me!!

I like those, are they quite thin? She wants an everyday one and one to keep for good

They have a great range of colours

I want to have a bath in slosh wash, as it smells so lovely!!!

They are thin but not so thin that they become useless. They wash really well and hold their shape - the don't look 'old' after a few washes and as they are all cotton they last well - the sort of good quality you expect from Germany. I also have their 'gently' saddlecloths - a little thicker and fleece lined. Have to say other then my Mattes pads I wouldn't use anything else now.

I also love the colours!!

Well its final Today was our last day of Winter Turnout the fields are like a bog!!

Means I will get up earlier and turn hisself in the indoor school for a romp and on nice days hand graze in the sneaky bits (areas where I know there is good grass and everyone else doesnt.

Picked up my feed today and got given - a free sack of spuds.

we've been to the field and had a canter was nice but weird how you don't notice the lack of cars til you get back on the road.

havn't been to the arena yet, was meant to go this week but weather has been so up/down

forgot to say earlier my field now looks like the hunt has ridden through it and back again

Evening everyone!
I went to the yard early tonight to ride, and it pissed it down the entire time I was there, so I ended up not riding

I hope the weather is nice tomorrow, if it is, I can ride 2 horses, or 3 if I ring Hazel.

One question: We now have to turn out into the big field, I have been told the grass shouldn't be too lush because its so long, but the horses have come in bloated and one is a bit 'sick' according to owner. So that horse is only going to be out for a few hours a day, if you were me, would you turn out in grazing muzzle or just leave her to get used to the amount of grass.

Leave her without it she'll be fine. They have just stuffed themselves in their excitement bu there is no goodness left in it but it will fill them up which is good as it it will also help them keep warm.

The grass doesn't have much goodness in it RG, but they will stuff themselves on it!!

Our big mare looks like she's about to foal at the minute, she's eaten so much!!

They other day she wouldn't touch her feed, but now is managing to stuff it down again!!

It's horrible here too, but I'm a bad mummy, out tonight, LW rugs, lots of grass, no hay/haylage!!!
