Hope your lesson goes well Idlp. Is his eye clear watery or gunge watery? Odd question, but if it's clear then chances are that it's not infected.

hubby says is humid outside so i will have to save my walk 'till later - i don't do humid!

i've applied for some cool contracts, so await with interest.

hubby says horse site is nearly done from his point of view - he has been a bit side-tracked by horse moves and m'poorly arm

off to yard in an hour or so to pen in the little lad - he's taken to field hopping (i knew that pony could jump!). he needs to be in a spot of his own with a good layer of electric fencing round him!

A fly mask will help. Good idea. At least it's clear. Just keep an eye (Sorry for the pun!!) on it, and if you think it's getting worse, call the vet.

Mrs M - we have a non respecter!! of electric fences, she can jump them from a standstill, and also waits until the pulse is weak!!( Honestly!!!) Bl**dy horse, as she's not allowed too much grass, but she's such a gutsy!!!

hi

riding lesson was good. done some jumps at end, she siad horse is confued, basically ive managed to confuse her, by i think saying jump the jump then last few strides not doing alot or doing opposite and going gun ho at jump forcing her out of stride and ending on wrong one making her jump big and loose her confidence. and the stopping is her falling out of shoulder and not being straight etc.

mrs m horses eye was bit swollen yesterday, due to flies pestering i think as none of the others have watery eyes, so gona get him a fly mask.

I'm back, and feeling very pleased, as riding went well today and.....my son rode his horse!!!!! First time in ages, as he has been so busy at work, and she was fab!!! A star!

so just trying to sort a few things out. Also have to take Sweep (my spaniel to vets tomorrow for an operation) for a big walk so he can go in the brook as its no food after 8pm tonight and no swimming for at least 10 days.......

i feel abit better would like to put more of what she said into practice. i think the main aim she was trying t get across when instead of worrying what stride i get to control the rythm of pace keeping same tempo and let her sort the take-off point out.
