no not problems she was fine i just gotta learn to let hesort herself out. that way if she messes up then she only has herself to blame instead of me.

basically it would be practice for me as i would do clear round 2ft then 2ft3 class and use it as practice, otherwise wont be doing any jumping til next week due to hard ground.

Just seen ur reply. I would say that if you are not feeling confident have another week but as your instructor says your looking for a steady rhythm, look up, keep leg on and let her sort her stride out for that height. x

im doing more dressage comps at weekend might do i sj class depending what height they are on when i finish stressage.

trying to decid whether to enter another dressage comp on 1st july or not

Ok - just changing the subject a minute - please can I have some vibes for my little spaniel Sweep? He is off to the vets tomorrow for an op to remove a big fatty lump (you can see it just under his chin) and I know he will be so better with out it but I am worried sick. He is nearly 12 so am worried about the anaesthetic/if they find something else etc etc

I would, but I tend to just go for it and see what happens. It'll give you an insight on what to work on at not too high a height. Like I said, get the head up and the leg on and let ponio sort out the stride.

Awww!!! He's so cute, Big (((((vibes)))) for sweep.

BTW we had our springer operated on when he was 16, and I was also worried sick, but he came through it fine. I hope Sweep is doing muck duty very soon!!

I know! And not much, just took ponio out for a quick 30 minute hack tonight. After my last post i've been taking him out for hours on his own but tonight we just had too much happening at once for us to get anywhere

All going well. Risky has his stitches out and is on 12 weeks box rest.

Paddy doing well, was 2nd at JumpX on Thursday and 3rd at his first ever SJ comp on Ssaturday so going well.

That's great about ur hacking - it's great to get out and about -glad it's working out well for you!!

Theres a course quite near to me fortunatley so maybe if we can get our phobia of jumping as a rule a bit less toned down we'll have a go

And i'm holding out for now until the 1st when hopefully my dressage saddle will be FINALLY making an entry . I've ridden him in one before and the difference is amazing!
