Morning all, had a real chilled out day yesterday but feeling a bit light headed this morning, thinks it was the bubbles in the lemonade I was drinking

Not doing that again, working today but hope I feel up for a hack out later with my buddies

well I say you look good together, like the jumping ones, wish I had the nerve to do that

yeah we had a few stops at the jumps.

got crap scores for the test which the pics were of, i got 44%. last in the class. i dont think i deseved a 3 for one of my canters though as that stands for fairly bad?? i got the correct lead etc??

waiting for a video to upload of first test.

How are we all today?? how is the hangover samstar??!

ldlp - piccy's look good (I can do motorbike moments so stop showing off.....

What do you normally do on ned and how old is he?

Just so you all know f_s might not be on here much today if at all. Has had a sad day

she is 8 now, started off doing ode's but kept having stop on xc, so decided on sj for a while which was going well getting few placings, then trying my hand at dressage and sj altho both are not going to plan keep having stops on sj and well you saw the dressage.

Its been absoloutly horrendous here!! It literally has filled up our tank in the field, and overflowed it in the space of 2 horrific showers. The whole bottom floor has flooded in one of the rooms down at the river ..needless to say i turned around and took my dingy else where

Ok ldlp - now bear in mind I know diddly squat about stressage and am no Carl Hester I have only the following comments.....

1. Well done!!

2. It looked accurate - as far as I could see!
3. I would guess they want to see more submission - lot of head wiggling - and horsey listening to you more and although it had nice paces ie overtracking in walk horsey needs more impulsion/forward going.

Have now exhausted my repertoire of stressage comments.....

yeah shes a lil minx, does so well in warm-up but as soon as go over near stressage arena she gets all tense and then head starts going and she turns into wiggly worm, very unresponsive about bending around my left leg, so hence always looking wrong direction.

but didnt look half as bad as it felt

anywho been thinking about having mayb a lesson a month or fortnightly with her as she is quite a difficult monster, anyone know a gd instructor? have friend who has lessons from helen mitchell @ £25 a hour, any other recommendations??

also been thinking about mayb doing a few stressage comps on my old cob as i think i would do well on him now as im older wiser and slightly stronger what do you guys think??

he will be going out on loan soon anywho but thought would be bit of fun

Would definately agree with having some lessons

. Don't know anyone down your way - put up a post for reccommendations some one is bound to know.

... interesting if he is anything like mine!!

Will happily walk and trot all sorts of shapes etc for hours but canter a circle - you must be joking!!

does a lovely canter in a straight line across fields though....

well he got a 8 in one old stressage test

might try to get a lesson for this week.
