Hey gang - back now - was out riding the Padster - went for a fun muddy gallop, Ali was going nuts and we had a big fun race up the fields, we all ended out covered in mud and Ali won by miles!!!

has anyone gone on horseworld website to see what horses they have, i did and the suggested donation bit gets me especially for the ones you can ride they ask quite alot imo for a loan horse??
 
Idlp - are you thinking of taking on another horse??? I think they ask for a fairly large donation to make sure people are genuine and are prepared for the cost of horse ownership!!

I'm here , went for a nice hack at 6 as the sun was out and had a potter around the resevoir and then had to go and talk to the vet about the cat - she's got to stay another week with anemia and a thyroid problem

Still - she's putting on weight and the vet thinks she'll be okay..but I wanted her home tomorrow!

They think the fact that she was far too skinny has led to the low red-blood cell count etc which makes sence

So the more weight she puts on theoretically the better a count she'll have. The bacteria will always be in her blood from it though so she could almost have "relapses," throughout the year but with a monitored diet she'll be okay.

And I'm not too sure about her thyroid. They're re-testing it this week but if there is a problem there she may need medicine for that

Change of subject - hubby has this Bazra documentary on and I can't take much more of it - one 19yr old soldier on his way home hit by a road side bomb, lost a leg - only gets £150 per week pension and has received NO other money for losing his leg - the whole situ is just awful.
