Morning all!
I'm just popping in before getting ready for work... not got too many hours of teaching today, but they're awkwardly arranged which is a pain... in one school for an hour, then a break, then another school for just half an hour, then at home for half an hour, another break, and at home for another half an hour. Will have to be a quick visit to the yard straight from school no.1 I think! Normally give her Monday's off but I won't have time to ride Friday so she's in for a surprise!

Hope you don,t mind me joining in on your "sweet fa days" but hope the rest of my day goes better than it started i have 4 part time jobs and the first one today went bad, work collegue on a go slow when i was on a go fast so ended up doing the lions share. I should be doing house work now but thought i,d have a peek at forum which is getting highly addictive, then i,m off to do my dinner lady job which i love doing so not all bad : )

whats that, thats what I'm supposed to be doing but have only done last nights dishes so far, and a packed lunch, am now on my 3rd coffee. Will be leaving shortly to go and feed horses so housework will have to wait

I hate housework to but i have not even done the dishes from sunday lunch and the washing is up to my neck which i should of done yesterday. But thought stable and feed shed needed to be completely gutted and sorted out ready for the hay delivery. Now i love doing that so why is housework such a chore i wonder ?

i've had a rather yummy morning. toddler child decided to have a lie in, then hubby made me pancakes for breakfast.
fencing is being delivered today, so i imagine my day will be spent pacing the garden trying to work out how to make a paddock at the bottom.
oh, and stables are being ordered today too... gulp. went for the cheapest company in the end that seemed to do ok quality, and also put them on skids. so i can bypass the crazy planning dept here... two mobile stables, with attached haybarn for 3k... incl vat and delivery/erection (*giggles*).
better go now... OH has a stressed face on... think perhaps chickens have escaped/teenage child is being annoying/dog has eaten something it shouldn't....

when i had my stable and feed shed built i took at flask of coffee and a deck chair and watched the whole thing go up when the builders had gone i sneekily looked around to make sure no one was watching i actually hugged and kissed it !!!. Then spent the rest of the day smelling of wood preserve.

Morning all...
Well....was supposed to be riding with Samstar this morning but my daughter has woken up with a stinkng cold so is off school
. Hate it when she unwell....she's too sweet to be unwell
Seemed a bit mean to go off riding while she is stuck on the sofa so Samstar is off riding later with a pal and I may try and get out later on my own or even gatecrash their ride if it works out timewise....
Having my OH at home with me all day means really I have to play at doing housework occasionally
....so I'll do a bit of shuffling things around and fire up the hoover every now and then throughout the day
...lol...was much better when he went out to work and I could just do a mad fling around half an hour before he got in and spend the rest of the day playing ponies...lol

Head check this afternoon, see how the cabbage is coming along. Feeling quite good at the moment
. Hope to be able to get back to the client's office tomorrow, even if I have to get hubby to drive me there (he can spend a day in town lol).
Horses all having the day off. LL did a wickedly long hack yesterday (ok, so took in two pubs lol) so he deserves it. LC has been worked hard most days, so deserves to slob. Dizz is, well, she's Dizz
. Came to me in the field yesterday, and I like to think she came to see me rather than the carrot I had for her, but I doubt it, any way, she's my ned and I think she deserves a day off for being gorgeous (and for not kicking me in the head in passing last week
). Just realised I can't have farrier this week as no-one around, and can't have saddler next week as I can't be there now, and I need to be there to see if we can fit the Albion to her. Poo. Poor Laura, she must be sick of my emails, though she's always very understanding (last time we had the saddler booked, I had to cancel due to battered arm!).

Morning its me Mums Birthday today so off to take her pressy. She is 87 (I think) so I bought her a Garden Hoe she loves her garden and it is a very pretty stainless steel one and very very lightweight.
Can I just mini-moan. I am really fed up with the number of people who have the following converstaion with me:

The ginge seems fine after our little "lets scare the hell out of mum and colic" episode at the weekend.......

busy day ish for me as well done all morning stuff ie stables etc. then went grocery shopping and am now sorting through paperwork paying bills and stuff like that. folder with stuff to file is getting massive now so will have to get round to that this week

I'm back from school no. 1 and the yard. Did indeed manage to fit a ride in! Off to de-horse in a minute before school no. 2. Pupil no. 1 didn't turn up, so I got in for 8.30 for nothing... *sigh* At least I still get paid for it!

Hope your well!! Welcome to a few new faces on here!!
Got a stinking cold... I'll try not to sneeze over you all!! Riding Horlicks tonight. Riding her all week as she has been off with a bad back (not sure what, I think its due to sores caused by a horrid back pad that is made from foam) so am using my own Prolite pad instead and got to bring her slowly back into work, so well chuffed, although would prefer to say here's some money, and now she's livery, and then give her a month off to chill!! Oh well!!

Phew!!! that was painstakingly tough
, I've just been through my kitchen with a fine tooth comb and cleared my cupboards out, found dates from 2006-2008 in there, and now have 2 black bags full of crap.
Do feel so much better for doing it, mother can now help me do the breakfast room tomorrow instead
Now just waiting for daughter to come home from school so we can go out for a hack with a friend
