Morning all!

Well another Monday... Off to work in about half an hour... Nice short sting at school no. 1 (1 hour), then time for Genie!

She's so much more comfortable now she's been clipped, although I've had a few 'cruelty' remarks about still turning her out. She's a Welsh Cob and has a rug on for crying out loud!

Morning everyone, it's freezing here and was dark when I got up at 7am! Next season is definitely on its way!

Not got a lot planned today, at work, then hopefully it'll still be light enough to ride when I get to the yard tonight or the school will be free and I can ride in there. I would like to do some winter dressage so need plenty of practice (we are both totally unschooled

Hi all!

I am sat at work, bored as usual, although in a bit of pain as I got attacked by a cow yesterday! Tres amusant! But it hurts like hell!

On another note I found out more about my pony in my quest to answer more questions about his previous life, and it has put my mind at rest! Yay

Morning! Been at work since 8am and had enough already. Also not sure why my hips and thighs are so sore from a two hour hack yesterday...was on my fave horse who is awesome but need lots of half halts to jeep him steady, think I must have overdone it!

Gonna be in agony after a day at a desk...

I am feeling stupidly nervous today, got newish horse and saddle all sorted, now all I need to do is ring my instructor to arrange starting lessons (I bought the horse from her and she’s a lovely (well qualified) person). But why so nervous? I think I’m just worried about making a complete twit of myself, it’s easily done!!

Have had a nice ride although Genie was a bit odd today :-S Wil keep an eye on her these next few days. We have a hunter trial Saturday so fingers crossed she'll be ok. Shower now and then school no. 2!

And just checked weather forecast - tonight is about 14C, but will go down to 4C during the week! And by friday, sun will be setting at 6.40pm! Argh.

On a positive note, have day off today. been to farrier this morning and we decided to take Minstral's shoes off to let his feet recover over the winter (he's a b*****r for keeping shoes on so nail holes have weakened his hooves) and work with his old macs. boy, is he gonna luuurve me!

had first appt with fracture clinic today and they wiggled it about lots and only thing that hurt is turning hand out bending/straightening wasn't too bad. So have taken cast off a put in sling.

Allowed to move it about a bit as much as comfortable and they will re xray in 2 weeks

eta- I have a box of 92 arm length cattle rectal exam gloves going spare now!
