Anyone else had to do a double take on the Frank Lampard story in top left hand corner of news thingy, just caught it fading out to the next news items and couldn't read it quickly enough but sure I saw the word placenta...*pauses whilst waiting for it come round again on the news sushi-style conveyor belt of stories* and......... oh yes I did indeed see the word placenta...not whilst I'm having pre-bath coffee and biccies please!

I'm intrigued now...what on earth is horse placenta treatment? Do they just lay one on the injured leg or something and hope the nasty strain will go away?! Guess it's something to do with new cells? Is this something Ester would know (you sound science-y Ester in your posts sometimes!).

Sounds like it some dodgy stem cell treatment. Am also guessing as you have to go to Romania for it and the Doctor concerned has legged it that it is an unlicenced unproven treatment.
