Well its really windy

here but no rain!! I'm hoping it will blow out as the day goes on - am going to do

first and then pop into town and then do the neds!!

Both of mine had found time to have a good wallow overnight so much grooming will be needed...............

Morning all. Not bad here though a bit blowy. Biggest problem I have today is whether to keep immaculately groomed ned in overnight as we are on first (9am) in local dressage comp Sunday morning. Keep in = edgy ned in the morning. Turn out = mud monster ned in the morning. Ho hum x

Waiting for friends to arrive, but they're stuck on the A14 so who knows when they'll get here...

Then off to turn a ned out and muck out, before a trip to Draycot House or Eland Lodge to watch the lucky ones go round the cross-country courses.

Daughter had a scuba diving taster session last night.

Seems rather keen... We have created a monster!

Well I have cleaned the bathroom, office, bedroom, landing and stairs - feeling quite smug - and exhausted

Hope you're all well!
Got up this morning and went down to ride Horlicks and practice the dressage. She was sooo good After schooling, we went for a walk around the field to cool off, and one of the babies in the field next door thought it be great to start galloping up and down the fence line as we walked past Well, other than pick her walking pace up, Horlicks didn't even try to do anything! I was so chuffed This is the horse for me for sure!

Not much planned for later other than a night in with OH and getting a nice tasty Indian YUM!!

I can't move my legs (standing for nine hours!!!) and my pooter fingers don't work very quickly!!!

All horse and ponies are ok though, so they can survive a day without me!!!!

Got my dates mixed up, I'm out next week not tonight!! Thank God, as I think they'd have to

I've have just got in from seeing to the neds and catching up with the yard gossip - or bitching depending on who you are talking to!!

Been an eventful day - went to watch a local stressage competition - a qualifier for some regional thing - trailblazers or something similar? - anyway you may remember my friend who offered to 'sort Nixon out' for me? she was doing the Prelim test on her Intermediate eventer and came 2nd from last!!! Major strop going on so I didn't hang around in case I laughed at an inappropriate moment!!

Other than that I am exhausted

- I did housework as the weather was pants.....

Said she didn't need to keep it as she didn't agree with anything that was written - her OH agreed and said her test was worth at least 65% - not the 56% she got............sadly I missed the actual test so can't comment but they have it on video......

She won't watch it - it has probably already been deleted!!

Still what do you expect if you hunt all season and the spend the rest of the year charging around cross country and sjing - she has only done 2 other tests all year so he is hardly in the habit of doing them!!

Still I expect that will be it now until next summer - she will be getting ready to hunt now (not that she is competitive and takes losing badly or anything0....

Yes!! Passes out bubbly!!

f_s - she wants Nixon for 2 reasons - one because of where he came from and the schooling he has had in a previous life and secondly to keep me in my place - I'm not allowed a better horse and should stick to my coblet!! You now how some people are when you disrupt the 'order' as they see it!!

Nixon loves hunting but I'm to chicken!! but then again he has no ambition as he is a horse so I doubt he'll miss it when he is busy troughing....!!!

Slinky - some people just don't know when to stop poking their noses into other's lives!!! She should go and look for a horse like Nixon if she wants one, and stop coveting yours!!! I'm pretty sure Nixon won't suffer in any way, because he's not out hunting!!! Seems to be doing very well so far!!!
