Suppose we were very lucky to find the right home for harley but no there isn't alot selling at mo and the prices seem to high on some
Hi guys, sounds like you've all had a nice day in this lovely sunshine!
Well went down to the campsite today to pitch up, bagsy a field and walk around the ground etc. Some of the jumps are
So we'll be leaving them..but there are lots of nice achievable jumps I aim to have done by the end of the week
With a bit of velcro anywho!
Only little bear bug at the moment is the fact the fields are in the sun all day and being we're due a heatwave
I'll have to find him a shady spot to stand with a haynet for an hour or so just to take the edge off. Fortunatly all the jumping is done in a shaded wood too .
Well I am so chuffed - I have ridden the coblet - made her work really hard for 40 mins without a break and the little bugger was still trying to drag me around but at least that means she is getting her fitness back as she was finding 20 mins hard no that long ago. Then I rode the big grey lump and I have cracked canter on him!! I managed half decent 20m circles and everything *does happy dance* am soooooooooooo chuffed as it has taken me ages and the penny has finally dropped - am taking him out on a hack in the morning so we can have a sneaky canter on the track!!
ldlp - pictures look fab and I think he is a total babe
!! Enjoy the movies!!
DL - are you excited about camp?? Don't worry about the sun/shade thing as you will be riding for a lot of the day so they won't actually be standing out in it - ours do out of choice anyway the idiots. Have you checked the long range forecast for where camp is? if not if you tell me the nearest town I will look for you as we are due to have rain/showers most of next week.
Well if its any concellation, another website says we're meant to be dry all week, besides Wednesday night and Thursday when its going to throw it down.
Haha, I think if it pee's hard, I'LL be sleeping in my car! Might be a bit of a squeeze what with all the rubbish that seems to have appeared in there over night.
Kept the tent pegs at the bottom of the bag, so it ALL had to come out
Right just got in, daughter lying on sofa so no grub done, so have decided I'm going down the beach pub as there is a band on and some of my mates have told me to get my backside down there.
NO FOOD and drinking ALCOHOL seems a good match.
So see you alls later
Nope theres a big converted barn which has 3 set meals running through the day , and then theres "afternoon tea," after the last rides where everyone gets cakes
Can't say my day won't be revolving around then!
Have also got a rather large holdall bag with some fizzy drinks (they always have just orange as a cold drink -how inventive) and a few goodies too

DL - you have a fab time at camp I'm sure you and Darcy will learn loads - look forward to a 'camp' report when you are back - that sounds like the sort of report you would get from John Barrowman or Graham Norton.......
