SWEET FA.....Saturday

Hello DL
grin.gif

L - she's a leg splitter now, in comparison to as was. Only cantered up a gentle hill and we were all over the place - found I couldn't get m'bum down at all and slowing was a bit of an issue - I think we've lost a bit of balance over the last couple of months

right there really is nothing to eat, that involves minimal cooking, well apart from a frozen meal which is a month out of date, got salmon in though dunno whether to risk it

hi DL how was camp and piccies??

It was um, interesting
crazy.gif

To cut a long story short, Darce came home on Thursday for being a bit of a pig!
blush.gif

But, even still I'm very pleased with him, He had a go at every jump I asked him too, he tackled the water complex (yay!) and we jumped about 2ft 3 so the heights going up, not that I'm too fussed with that
grin.gif

But, things became a bit much for him I think as he then refused and I came off, and he went hooning off around the farm doing his own thing
blush.gif
And well, we won't speak of his other performance ...

And my dingy is being deflated as we speak...
tongue.gif

Have I missed much on here, how are you all?!

sounds fun, i remember pony club camps oh the good old days
a080.gif

guess ill be having some kind of sandwich for lunch, or perhaps cheese on toast hmm sounds good and easy.

Glad you both made it back in one piece! Albeit at different times
blush.gif

I remember PC camps - so much fun lol (not all of it 'official' fun
cool.gif
). Meant to book daughter on one, but got sidetracked, never mind, she can go next year.

Very much looking forward to piccies!
grin.gif
.

Well I think it sounds quite good considering its the first time you have done something like that with him
grin.gif
. Well done on the jumping - especially getting him through the water!!

grin.gif

I am well - had to go away with work this week do the neds have had a unplanned week off - although due to the amount of rain I don't know if i would have got much riding in anyway!! I don't know if I told you but I am going to have my RI old Fourtrak so I will have transport!!
a030.gif

gotta wait to use the grill though *bu*ger*

every says hector (fatone) has lost weight already
a080.gif

gonna lunge him today as well.

then got the cakes to decorate, horses to feed, should do field as well oh really shouldnt of had a lazy morning
a065.gif

I'm looking forward to riding Darce again. Our rather large, public argument has left me itching to get on - never thought I'd say that!
Bring it on beasty..
smirk.gif

They should be fine - it is obviously not torrential so I would get in the ones you are going to work - see how wet they are and then decide which one you are going to work first. If you are lunging do that first as obviously no saddle to go on - and then if you are going to ride one pop rug on so they dry off a bit while you are lunging - little bit of hay to keep them interested and should be dry enough to tack up when you have finished lunging!!
cool.gif

If you are working them hard enough to sweat just give them 10/15 mins to cool off etc before turning them out - no need for rugs as it is still very warm .
grin.gif

No lesson, 'tis too wet
frown.gif
So, am considering shifting ar$e up there just to get Little Cob in for tomorrow. Might ride the DizzyWhizzyOne for half an hour as won't be riding tomorrow; or might just wobble back home again and try and fight off this trainee cold...

p023.gif

well its now pis*ing down so doesnt look like i will get to lunge.
plus field will be abit slippery now i would imagine.

Well I have just been to town to get bread and cheese for later and also got a few other little bits and pieces that happened to fall into my basket!!!! including a little custard tart which I am about to eat with my cuppa!!
tongue.gif
grin.gif

Is still piddling here so no more outside stuff until dinner time for the beasties!! Tomorrow is supposed to be nice so lots of work for both them then!!
grin.gif

MrsM - how long is your contract for?
confused.gif

Is three months! But, I have a one-week-get-out-clause. I haven't invoked one before, but I feel the need this time...

I've just looked through the description again, and nope, nothing like what I'm doing.

Cold is catching up with me, so D is taking child to yard. Dizz can have the weekend off. I was going to lunge Big Cob, but the throat is hurting
frown.gif
Will do tomorrow when hopefully bits all working again.

n040.gif

So long as it stays at this level I'll be okay to work - will prop self up on desk and take matchsticks, will be fine lol. Might not get to ride in the mornings though
frown.gif

Long armed hugs to sister and niece.

Put my order into hubby, but he's gone out without money! Numpt
mad.gif
. If he was in my car it would be alright, I leave money in there (not a lot, just enough to pay for odds 'n' ends), needless to say there's none in his. AND I traded off the yard trip with cooking dinner.... at this rate dinner will be Chinese
grin.gif

Oooh, head hurts
frown.gif
Got Ts 'n' Cs to do!

Show is cancelled as well. Think I'm just going to retire for the entire weekend
