I bought ALi and Paddy fully neck heavy weight rugs - blue for Al, red for Pads. Matching purple and blue fleeces, Kyra K socks, Mark Todd gloves adn nice body brush for Pads and martingal stops - ooo and a horsey sleep suit for my little niece!

All this spending of money - don't catch me doing that sort of thing....

...and a bling browband for Friend's daughter's B'day (only two months late!), and a bit for LC as daughter says he's going brill in the one he's in but it's not ours

had it for four months, really must return it!

Lesson didn't happen

Instructor was having a mega busy day and it went to pot
frown.gif
I was kind and understanding and very, very disappointed
frown.gif
. Dizz was in and stressing even more than usual. So, we piled in to the car and went to Eland Lodge and spent my next three lessons money (she's on holiday for the next two weekends).

I'm going to have Dizz brought in every other day: I think she might be stressing in the stable as when she comes in it is 'To Do Something', she doesn't see it as a calming environment
frown.gif
Totally my own fault.

So, no lesson. And no ride.

Poo.

O poops
frown.gif
!! What a shame as you were so looking forward to it. Are there no other decent instructors around that you could have a lesson with?

I think you are right getting Dizzy in for something other than work - maybe just grooming, rug changing etc in the stable will help. Will you get to ride tomorrow?

I'm running out of instructors
frown.gif
Tried a few, but one insisted I hold horses head in (rather than making use backend); one smacked LC over his first ever jump (was the last time we had her!); one spent so long talking that we got about ten minutes instructions in an hour's lesson; one is very good, but only teaches at her yard and I odn't like the school there. Just heard of another one, but having spent up, I'll wait and give this one a go

Did you find it easy to use Slinky?! I'm a bit of a technophobe when it comes to ebay, but need to put a couple of saddles on there!!!

grin.gif

Ooooo - have just had my first bid - now 7 people watching!!

grin.gif

f_s - is the first time I have used it to sell - have always thought it would be complicated but was actually very straightforward!! Will be listing some other bits and pieces I've got like travel boots that have never been used......
grin.gif

Slinks - what saddle is it? I'm wary of putting saddles on Ebay in case the winner doesn't complete teh sale and they end up with the saddle and not pay for it
blush.gif
. I have five sat waiting to be sold..., though am wondering if the Albion will fit the Dizzy one
cool.gif
.

MrsM - i have said that the saddle will not be sent until money received - if its a cheque/bacs transfer etc it will need to be cleared funds before the saddle is sent.

Will let you know how it goes!! I tried a lovely Albion on the BGL the other day but ended up with a Frank Baines - general concensus (sp?) from those on the ground was that the BGL was more forward and my position was best in the FB, 2nd was the Albion and 3rd was the Italian job......

Still bloody expensive - hence the need to sell old one asap - so I can have toast with my beans nearer the end of the month..........

Don't worry Samstar, I won't get round to it that quickly!!! I'll wait until you have, then we'll see!!!

Ah yes Slinks, toast one night and beans the next
cool.gif
.

Good plan - are you able to specify the payment method, or do you have to offer PayPal?

I'm thinking the Albion cross-county would be a better bet to go hunting in than the dressage saddle
