Well I had a sneaky lie in this morning as YO is away so I was up and feeding at 8am - have done horses, ponies, chooks, duck, cats and dogs - as well as walking them!!

Now sitting in a heap having toast and a cuppa

- then I'm off out to lunge the coblet and give her probably the last wash of the summer - need to get her clean as I suspect clipping will be happening very shortly.............

He had obviously been quite stressed with it early this morning as he was pacing and sweating and rolling so hosed him down, dried him off and plastered him with fly cream and spray, sewed one of his rugs up AGAIN and plonked that on. Bless him he was knackered so we'll give him a couple hours to relax before we ride.

hp - poor itchy pony!! Have you ever tired giving him aloe vera juice in some feed to help with the itching? Might be worth a try and think you might be surprised at the results - would certainly clam down his itchy skin!!

Hiya! Not a happy morning - I was supposed to be up at 7am to see my OH off to work and make sure he had breakfast (as he stayed over my house) but I had a horrible night so didn't get to sleep til 5.30am and my alarm didn't go off so missed him! Yesterday's viewing of the cob didn't go as I thought it would - see my post in SB (or my FB status - Pinkfairy Hho)

My mum is in hospital with unexplained pains in her side and abdomen so we're waiting for the Dr's to do some tests etc and see if she can come home today. Gaaah..

Ello you guys food again just posting to say I am not posting cos I is busy sorting through rugs in to piles of keep sell giveaway.

I darent post on the post about washing horsey stuff as there is a navy under rug in a wash bag currently pretending to be just a couple of numnahs in my machine.

morning guys i have been pout and done the horses this wet dreak day. now thinking about where to brave the weather and go out and ride the tobster. then need to go and pick up some rugs that have been away for repairs and home shower and ready to go out. going to ingliston equestrain centre for dinner and to watch THE PUISSANCE.

Not read all the posts as had a bit of a morning - T bag was showing signs of colicking!!!!!! Sorted with Colease and Coligone............. seemed ok when I left, was eating and drinking fine again..... so fingers crossed I caught it. YO at yard will watch him and call me should he suddenly decide to hit the deck!!!! Bloody horse!!!!
On a more serious note guys can you keep bumping the post in New Lounge about the rider attack in Epping Forest, it would appear there has been another attack and this time it was more serious and the young lady concerned was actually raped..... Have also posted it in latest news..... cheers guys for bumping it, we need to let as many people as possible in the area see that so they dont hack alone!

afternoon peeps. After turning horse out, fed the cat & skipped out made myself semi-human I've spent the rest of the morning doing girlie things - been to the hairdressers & had my hair cut and hi-lights put back to hide the grey, then went and bought some clothes in readiness for next weekend's trip to Venice with OH.

Afternoon!

Well I am back from cross country and in one piece! Genie went round good as gold with my sharer while I walked, doing all the 2'3 class jumps with just one run out, and then we gave her a short break, offered some water, and I rode her around the 2'6 jumps. Bless her she was really good although I need to ride more positively at the jumps I worry about, as I held her back a bit too much and she got them with her back feet.

Hey everyone! Had a great jumping lesson last night on the horse I have for SJ tonight, so though still nervous, am feeling pretty positive about it...and had another nice lesson this morning with the spooky pony. Lots of canter transitions, getting yelled at and later praised about my position, and a very sweaty pony! Then hacked home via a very long route that I've only ever ridden the other direction, so had to ask other riders for directions a few times. Met a very very scary golf caddy. Then had a lovely fry-up with 4 rashers and 3 eggs! Digesting now, may take a nap later, and then SJ tonight...mmm.
 
I'll try to get some, though I can't find the camera atm...
