Hm, with that in mind then - I'm leaving with Ned at 9.45 in the morning - everyone on the yard said to keep him in as our fields are really wet , and he WILL roll

Put all your clocks back before you go to bed (about an hour before) so the change is tonight and no change in the morning so no bumping into anything - simples!!

This morning I got UP at 7 (was meant to be riding with my friend at 7) , ran around thinking it wasn't a saturday and getting ready for other things, then dawned on me that it was saturday, so I ran around getting changed for the yard etc etc
Turned up very bleary eyed at the yard at 7.20

Yep, everythings ready besides my jods and saddle cloth - which actually is probably ready now! I keep it all in the toilet downstairs by the door

I hope it is and the lady said she really likes me and then on friday she said do I still want to ride and I said yes and we were talking and I just started crying like an idiot. I was just a bit stunned as I thought id shown I was enthusiatic! She said she was happy with me etc
I think the hardest part of sharing is knowing your not in control and having to wait to hear from someone else with out looking like your pestering them.

Are you supposed to be riding tomorrow? If you are just talk to her and say how excited you are about riding her horses etc and can you discuss a more formal arrangement ie days you can ride, jobs you can do as you need to arrange your work hours etc and you want to do it so you have enough time for the horses.
As an owner I would want to hear thet someone was prepared to prioritise my ned in their life. They are my 'babies' for the want of a better word so expect them to be treated like that by others. Does that make sense?
You may have been enthusiatic but reserved at the same time as maybe you ddin't want to be over enthusiastic in case it didn't work out etc.
I'm sure it will be fine!! Have a hot choccy and a hug!!
