Well, I just gave my two boot camp bound ponies a tiny, tiny little little piece of long grass, and I mean little, and guess what?....they won't eat it!!! All because it's a little bit at the back gate of the stables, and that's scary!!! I had to stand there with them to let them graze for a minute!!
So, now going to make dinner and then sit down with a large glass of
and chat on here!!!
Glad Harley has settled in, he looks at home there!!! Even with five legs!!
oh bloomin horses were right monkeys while i was away kept getting out etc.
my mare has got a sore nose, so i aloe vera'd that, and slightly more worrying she has a lump on underside of right cheek, should i be worried?? im thinking mayb teeth prob? or at worst the s word.
What sort of lump? can you get a photo? It may just be grass mumps especially if they keep getting out and eating lots of that lovely green stuff they all adore!!!
F_S i'll not lie to you he is quite heavy on my right hand however very light on my left randomly! The button spur is just so I'm not pony club kicking away!
just had an email from a girl who used to ride cleo when she was at michael marinos yard being schooled on, funnily she has my first name and said she was the only one who got on with her, funny didnt even know she was ridden by anyone other than two girls called donna and alex? emailed her back awaiting a reply.
will try get pic of the lump on cleo, doesnt seem to hurt i was having a good feel earlier.
Darcys got a veery strange lump on his face. Its been around for about 3 months now. Doesn't hurt him at all or change shape. I'll post a photo of it too
The vet thought it was a bite when he first came but I'm sure it isn't.
I think my head might be detached from my shoulders
After the shocking dressage comments made about my friend yesterday , I made a comment on her facebook just saying "Not to worry - stupid judge!" Didn't mean it quite that literally.
But that judge saw it ! Let the ground swallow me now. She's going to be at horse camp all week.
Coblet done - we had a lunging session to encourage cantering - apparently more than 3 strides on a circle is really really difficult and yet cantering across four or five fields without a stop is no problem at all.............
Doggies went for a charge around the fields - lots of hares and baby pheasants to chase!!
Have now chrashed on the sofa - cleaning my bathroom has finished me off!!
D-L ignore that, don't think it's a bot. Probably a bite that's gone a bit hard if you see what I mean!!
I really must gen up on my terminology...I mean, all these years with horses, and I'm hopeless with technical terms!!!
Slinky - *hands a large glass across*. Do you know daughter's horse has exactly that problem...now put jumps infront of her, that's a different matter!!!
