hi s_v holiday looks good, ship looks huge but those poor donkeys especially the one that fellover/dragged and trampled woman, poor thing to be beaten for that. and my horses think they got it hard.

the fat one keeps looking at me like im starving him, even though hes done 12 poos, instead of the standard 8!

Aw just my other post has turned into the usual that you get on here - oh they look fine, then getting all snotty about some being mules not donkeys - I felt that wasn't the point - I was just trying to raise awareness of the poor souls - shouldn't have f'ing bothered - soz just a bit pissed off at the uppityness on this site at times!

I know how you feel, it is very upsetting when you see how they treat their equines, and personally, I can't stomach some of the things they do.

!! Then again I did push myself further into poverty by buying Nixon a new bridle - when I got him on loan I just bought one of the cheap imported leather bridles (£25) in case he went back! Anyway have been promising him a new one - I do like to know that my bridle is up to the job - and the cheapy one keeps sort of falling apart, stretching and moving around so I spend about 10 minutes getting it back into shape before I can tack up!! Anyway I visited a local tack shop at the weekend to buy some dressage tests and they had a load of Harry Dabb's English leather bridles for £55!! Well I just had to have one as they are normally over £100 - as is any decent english leather bridle to be fair. There was a lovely rolled leather one there REDUCED to £110

!! Now I just need to buy myself some new jods - but they will have to wait as obviously I am skint again......

Our RS won a few rossettes as usual.
And I'm actually sick of bacon, cooked 2 whole catering packs of the stuff in a small pan that takes 4 slices at a time

Saw harleys owner and he is settling in lovely, they have been just doing playtimes with him which he is loving as it is giving him confidence, and the girl that rides him actually was able to get on from the ground today without him ending up looking like a giraffe.
