SWEET FA....Thursday

Ok peeps - I have something to ask - I won't be offended by any of the answers so say whatever.....here goes.....

I have just got my members tickets for Burhgly through and I have a dilemma. I have a spare ticket for Thursday and Friday so wondered if any of you Sweet FA peeps wanted to come with me on either day? Just a day of hanging out, checking out the trade stands (searching for bargains), watching a bit of stressage, drinking Pimms in the Members enclosure, eating ice cream etc etc....it will only cost whatever you spend.......

Anyone want to come and play with me??!

D_L DO NOT tow with that - my wee heart and OCD on towing couldn't cope with that!

Hope everyone is well, lesson went good and we were working on getting Paddy off my right leg properly.
However, soresest thing happened - I got a skelf right under my nail - how do I get it out its agony

By putting their head in the sand, not bothering to loook up towing capacities and puting themselves, horses and general public in danger - aaaahhhhhh!!!!! My heart rate is pounding at the thought!

'Cos they are stoopid!! I'm like S_V - I have OCD about towing properly - having had to get a horse out of a trailer that over whilst travelling and seen the trailer move (and it was a proper 4x4) god only knows what would have happened with a car like that towing.

Oh I hate cars / towing full stop haha. This is too damn difficult! I had no idea that 4x4 hire would be almost £150 a day

Its only costing us £60 for the trailer for two weeks.
I can see me grovelling to people on the farm
 
Slinks, I went to pick up Paddy's saddle from his stable door and I ran my finger along the door and caught a skelf right down the middle of my nail in the quick (I think thats what u call it) so if I am looking at my hand I have a skelf right down the middle under my nail. I have tried tweezers, sooking it to draw it out and now I have a plaster on it wondering if that'll draw it out. There is no wee bit poking out just a teeny hole where it went in.

Ok if you can bear it soak it in the hotest salty water you can bear - it may move slowly up overnight so you can get hold of it. If not go to the chemist tomorrow - or now if there is one nearby and open - and asking for a drawing ointment - the name escapes me at the moment I think its magnesium something or other - anyway they will know. You just slap on loads and plaster well over the top and it will draw it all out. You sometimes have to give the ointment a stir as it seperates as it stands. Its only about £2 for a little pot but dead handy to have around.
 
BTW did Lippy win the bridle on e bay?? Slinky - did you get your rugs? and I WANT Bubba NOW!!!!!!

......and Nixon also got a new travel/show rug - its a very smart grey velvet with grey and silver braid and its towelling lined - from the Michael Whittaker collection was supposed to be £90 but got it 30!!
