Feel the rain is about to hit.

And Darcys out naked too but theres a line of willow tree's up one side and then tree's up the far end. IF he has a brain, he'll stand under there!

He won't eat when he gets like this , so it'll be a crocodile dundee moment I think!

I've put him up in our long corridor upstairs as it doesnt have any windows, so he can't see it - and then put the radio on loud-ish to try and drown it out. Along with the cat - who couldn't give two hoots and then I'll be going up there in a bit and I'll just sit on the stairs .

Silly doglett!

Dad is being let out tomorrow Slinky! Went to see him tonight, and he is bright and cheerful. He had an awful night two nights ago, bleeding all over the place, they had given him too much heparin!!!

Now they seem to have managed it, plus they think the clot has dispersed.

D_L - poor doglet, They hate thunder, at least two of mine do. It's always difficult to know what to do, but Rescue Remedy is very good. Hope doglet is ok

Glad he is ok - heparin is a tricky thing to monitor but it sounds like its done its job!! Will get better so much quicker when he is at home!! He will have to be careful if he cuts himself now though - with warfarin etc it does takes longer for even the smallest of cuts to clot. Still they will tell him everything he needs to know.

My spaniels are the only dogs we have had that don't give a toss about thunder - I think its because they are gundogs so are immune to loud noises - or their selective deafness works with thunder as well when shouting 'get out the water' or 'put it down' or get off the bed' or 'drop it its minging you *%&$!!'....

Oh the three hobgoblins get lots of "drop it it's minging!!!"

The eldest found a dead mouse the other day (probably one he'd saved for later!) and proceeded to p** on it!!!! It was sort of "Ha! and take that as well!!!" attitude!!

Our cat who is a small, timid little thing is currently strutting around, occasionally acknowledging the lightning etc and moseing around like theres no problem.

Murphy who'll usually growl at most "intruders," etc however is cowering. Typical!

Haha I'll get:
"Growl." No chance buddy.
"Hissing." Back off!! I was here first."
"Attack," I'll fight you for it!

When I picked her up off the side of the road, I'd have thought she'd be more grateful..

Right I'm going to watch QT in bed now!!! How decadent!!!
