Thanks Slinky, she's absolutely fine in herself which is good (but also frustrating!). On Danilon (big-ish dose) til Monday to see if that helps block out some of the pain. Have already decided though to get a different vet out to do further investigations and a lameness work up to see if we can get to the bottom of it.

Someone from here PM'd me earlier, her mare was the same and the symptoms the mare had and the things they tried to sort it was exactly the same. Outcome in her case was bilateral hind suspensories......

Had a wickedly busy day

. I'm really chuffed 'cos yestrerday was pants mentally. Nearly lost the plot completely. Managed to talk self round into being proactive (major accomplishment!). Then, today, I got a contract

So we will eat! And have loads of ideas for other ventures... and the website is almost done! D has been working on the bits n bobs that people highlighted, so not long now

. A bit on her toes(!), but we went round the field (with daughters walking somewhere behind us) and she was soooo good
